The ONERO Introductory Program is a 6-week program consisting of 2 individual assessments and 2 group classes per week.

 

What is Onero™

The ONERO Program involves targeted, high-resistance exercises proven to combat bone loss and improve overall strength. This scientifically backed approach aims to safely and effectively support those looking to strengthen their bones without involving complex spine assessments.

The program begins with two 30-minute individual assessments with one of our accredited practitioners. These sessions allow us to tailor your exercise plan to your unique needs, ensuring safety and optimal results throughout your journey.

Following your assessments, you’ll participate in two classes per week. Each class lasts approximately 45 minutes and includes exercises that are carefully chosen to meet your individual goals. You will be guided through every step, focusing on building the strength you need to improve bone density while maintaining proper technique and reducing the risk of injury.

How the Onero™ Program Works

1. Initial Consultation

Everything begins with your first appointment. During this consultation, it will be decided if this program is the right step for your health journey. After a thorough assessment of your symptoms and medical and exercise history, you will be allowed to progress to the Initial Assessment. 2. Initial Assessment

In the initial ONERO™ assessment, we will evaluate your overall strength and identify areas for improvement, allowing us to create a tailored high-resistance exercise program designed to enhance bone density. Based on your assessment, you will be prescribed 12 to 24 sessions, with the frequency and specifics customized to your needs. ONERO™ recommends attending two 45-minute group classes per week to maximize results and support long-term bone health.

3. Commence Program

Everyone wants to see practical, tangible improvements to their health. Most patients in this program will feel an improvement in their strength and range of movement within four weeks. You will be able to track your improvement in regular reviews of your data with our accredited Onero practitioner – meaning you will be able to see the progress with your own eyes! Throughout the program, your treating practitioner will discuss and guide you on how to maintain your spinal strength long-term.

Under the supervision of our accredited Onero Practitioner, participants follow a carefully structured program that promotes bone strength without risking injury, ensuring safe progression throughout the course.

Your Onero™ Questions Answered

No referral is necessary to work with our team at Melbourne Physiotherapy, Pilates, and Fitness Group. However, if you visit a GP first, you may be eligible for subsided treatment through programs like EPC, TAC, NDIS, or WorkCover. For the Onero program, you will just need to ensure the referral is directed to our Exercise Physiologist.

Your first appointment is all about consultation. This initial discussion will provide your Exercise Physiologist with an overview of your medical and exercise history, condition, needs, symptoms, and goals. From there, you will be able to collaborate on your tailored treatment plan.

All we require is that you bring any relevant medical documentation to your appointment. This will help guide your assessment and the development of your personal treatment plan.
